The Luxe Appeal of Whipped Tallow: All-Natural Skin Balm Goes Viral

Joe Kryszak noticed the trend more than a year ago: Beef tallow was having a moment.

TikTok influencers were racking up millions of views with videos praising raw beef tallow as a DIY skin-care balm. Proponents of natural beauty products praised its properties as a healing remedy for dry skin, acne, and wrinkles. Kryszak, president of Stirling Professional in Cary, N.C., decided to sample the tallow skin-care formulations available on the market. His company, he concluded, could make a far better product.

After months of painstaking product development and testing, Stirling Professional began marketing its new Whipped Tallow Honey Balm to the chiropractors it was founded to serve last February. “I’ve been getting great, great feedback from chiropractors across the nation,” Kryszak says. “The product has been a home run for us.”

Beef tallow has been used for centuries as a natural, chemical-free moisturizer rich in proteins, vitamins, and natural oils similar to those found in human skin. Making Stirling’s product with tallow from grass-fed cattle, removing all traces of its beefy scent, and adding organic beeswax, vitamin E, and organic honey for antibacterial qualities produced a formula that Kryszak claims works better and is more pleasing to users. The balm is absorbed deeply into the skin, helping erase age spots and blemishes by diluting the pigments that cause them.

“Stirling’s Whipped Tallow Honey Balm has all the visual appeal of an elite cosmetic, and it practically sells itself when chiropractors display it in waiting areas,” Kryszak says. “Many chiros open a jar and provide sample sticks for patients to use.”

To test the product, Stirling Professional sent unlabeled product samples and several competing tallow products to 10 experienced chiropractors. Participants ranked Stirling’s Whipped Tallow Honey Balm first for consistency, ease of application, and natural, organic ingredients. After four iterations, testing also showed that Honey Balm was completely free of any lingering beef scent.

The company has also teed up two new products designed to provide safe, clinically tested, popular formulations to chiropractors. A new peptide product called BPC 157 (for “body protection compound”) promotes cellular healing, reduces inflammation, and supports gut health. While BPC 157 is often taken as an injection, Stirling Professional has made it available in capsule form by adding a compound that increases absorption.

The second is liposomal nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) with Vitamin C., monkfruit for a light sweetness, and organic lemon and mint oils for flavor. This supplement supports mental performance, heart function, and cellular vitality by increasing the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in cellular mitochondria.

Kryszak ran major sales divisions at Lenovo and Amazon for years. After excellent chiropractic care he received years ago enabled him to avoid back surgery, he left corporate sales to found Stirling Professional. Stirling Professional specializes in developing high-quality products that can become significant revenue drivers for the 1,000 chiropractic and professional offices the company serves nationwide.
