The Power of Listening + Upcoming Tradeshows

Someone reminded me today of the importance of listening—not just hearing, but truly being open to different perspectives.

I like to think of myself as open-minded, but this conversation made me realize that sometimes, when I ask for someone’s opinion, I’ve already made up my mind. It got me thinking… how often do we get so locked into our own way of thinking that we ignore valuable feedback along the way?

If we’re honest, we all like to be right—but at what cost? This reminder made me realize that I’d rather have people in my circle who feel heard, know their opinions matter, and can challenge me to consider if my decisions are truly the best ones.

 So here’s my challenge for you: Where in your practice or life could you listen more intentionally?
